Our Mission

This isn’t just about saving lives...

Its giving children a space where:

.

Their needs

and emotions

are never “too much”

They can make

real friends

They can unmask

and most importantly

just be themselves

.

Leisure shouldn’t be overwhelming, unsafe, or off-limits. Every child deserves to feel safe, included,

and free to be themselves but for many neurodivergent children, leisure spaces are simply not built for them.

.
.
.
.

We're here to change that!

We’ve now OUTGROWN our small private pool! Our waiting list goes on and on and on…

It’s clear that families need more of what we have built.

That’s why we’re building new spaces, bigger and better, led by neurodivergent voices and powered by community need and renewable energy!

Why we are starting in Hertfordshire

Welwyn Hertfordshire is already our home, it is the central point surrounded by the highest ranked towns for rates of Neurodivergence in our county.

1. Stevenage

2. Welwyn & Hatfield

3. St Albans

4. North Herts - Hitchin, Letchworth, Baldock & Royston

Over ~26,200 neurodivergent children combined in these towns alone.

That's 1 in 5 children needing some form of tailored approach to learning.
(UK Parliament POST, 2024; Office for National Statistics, 2023).

This figure is an estimate, calculated by applying national prevalence rates of neurodivergence (15–20% of children) to local ONS child population data. Local authority–specific figures are not currently published.

We’ve already proven this model works with over 10 years of The Swim Academy.
